EBOLA VIRUS....#Takecaution

All you need to know about Ebola Virus now:
1. It is a Central African disease that has traveled over countries in a living host to West Africa. It is easily spread by physical contact and eating contaminated bush meat.
Major hosts are in 5 species of Bats but monkeys and apes are easily infected and killed.
2. It kills in a week, leaving no time to treat an individual.
3. It has no known vaccine or cure.
4. Known cases have been experienced recently in Guinea, Liberia and Central Africa Rep, spreading eastwards and westwards towards Nigeria. Death toll so far in West Africa is over 100.
5. The Ebola outbreak of 2014 is the most challenging one witnessed in Africa.

What you can do?
1. Avoid eating any bush meat for now! Especially apes and bats.
2. Wash your hands as regularly as possible, especially after shaking a stranger. It is spread by contact. Wash your hands often with soap and water, sanitizer is a good alternative.
3.The most straightforward prevention method during Ebola outbreaks is not touching patients, their excretions, and
body fluids, or possibly contaminated materials and utensils. Patients should be isolated, and medical staff should be trained and apply strict barrier nursing
techniques. (disposable face mask, gloves, goggles, and a gown at all times). Traditional burial rituals, especially
those requiring embalming of bodies, should be discouraged or modified.
4. Always wash your fruits and vegetables before cooking.
5. Avoid contact with people with suspicious signs and places of outbreak.
6. Watch out for the warning signs which mimics malaria symptoms.

JADA's STORY...Back off ye HATERS

(CNN) -- Jada, a Houston-area 16-year-old, was getting ready for finals week and looking forward to a summer hanging out with friends and finding a job.
On June 1, she went to a friend of a friend's house party. She recalls little of what went on that evening, she told CNN, but does remember passing out and waking up the next morning at another friend's house with her clothing askew.
Weeks later, she received text messages showing photos of her unconscious and undressed that appeared to have been taken at the party. Soon, those photos spread on social media, with Twitter users mimicking her passed-out pose and adding the hashtag #jadapose. Jada and her mother filed a police report about the incident June 22.
"It is an active investigation," said Jodi Silva, a spokeswoman for the Houston Police Department. "We're following up on leads that have been given to us. We don't want to rush the investigation, because there are many facets to it."
In light of the photos and humiliating #jadapose meme, Jada might have chosen to hide in shame. But in a time when all aspects of teen life have moved from private to public forums, something unique happened: She took hold of the story.

Jada chose to show her face with the support of her mother, Sukiedia. (The family has not used their last name in interviews.)
The teen began speaking to local and national media about the incident and took a photo with the hashtag #iamjada to reveal the real person behind the viral photos.

"There's no point in hiding," she told a Houston television station . "Everybody has already seen my face and my body, but that's not what I am and who I am."
From beauty queen to rape activist CNN does not normally identify victims of sexual assault but is doing so in this case because the alleged victim is speaking out.

ARE YOU SINGLE?

Well most girls have being asked this question...Are you Single?

Some say Yes,

Some say No when they are

Others say Yes, but not searching.

Here's a new response for you all---

I'm not single; I'm in a long distance relationship because my boyfriend lives in the Future.

CAMPUS LIFE (1)

CAMPUS LIFE
Living on campus, many students expect their life, on their own, to be paradise. Living free of their parents’ reign, students move into school resident halls usually without private baths
Life without curfews and many house rules would seem to be a youngster first taste of being an adult.
The living conditions, room mates’ situations and campus life are major difficulties; living in the halls *hostel is the biggest hardship for Fresher’s.

You get to meet people of strange, different, annoying and few times good behavior. Rooms without space, a fan, a mosquito net, with a bad door, sparking socket, electrocuting bunks; such situations can arise. And a Restroom/Bathroom without water…..all this uncomfortable situations would make life-time memories for you.

An important thing you should know: you can’t be a friend to all, so know your friends and know your enemies*
The more you bring your books closer by taking your academics serious which is your major priority in school, keep God closer. Take him along; attend fellowships, bible study and prayer meetings. In every aspect of our life God is important.

Pharmacology is an interesting Course and I love it, though its volatile.
