DEVAL'16 a SUCCESS

Just as the past, DE VAL’s Committee is ever thankful for your earnest commitments to the accomplishment of DE VAL’16.

If you are still lost on what DE VAL is about, where have you been this past years? I don’t intend to sound that way but it’s our 3rd anniversary. To know more about our previous activities, click here

Here’s a photo grid of Deval’14 and ’15
This idea began three years ago by our own home boy, Oguntayo Fisayo, a recent graduate of the University of Lagos, a fashion designer (CEO Demoriah Couture) and the Youth mobilization officer of Galaxy4Peace (nonprofit youth-led organization), click on his name to gain more exclusive insights about him.

Meet the handsome bobo (boy) who became a leader
God Almighty has been great to us, all the way from Deval’14, ’15 and now ’16.
At ’14 (the first edition) it was a try out and surprisingly turned a success, with our home celebrity; Mr & Miss Medilag gracing the occasion. Then ’15 came up, it became a sort of big deal, it appeared as though we were taking this stuff pretty too far, however it was still an extraordinary achievement.

This year we just couldn’t prevent ourselves from being superior to the past two years, we got a pretty new shirt, more dedicated individuals and supporting people. We even got two celebrities to grace this event; Mr. Fola David (Former Mr. Medilag, Celebrity Artist and Speed Painter) and Miss Unoaku Anyadike (MBGN World 2015).

Our Celebrities: Unoaku Anyadike and Fola David
This year’s act was an elevated Big deal. “Not he who has much is rich but he who gives much”, although, we didn’t have much as far as visible finances are concerned, but knowing that we are blessed, we decided to radiate this blessing to individuals who don’t have the same privilege as we do, therefore we ventured out again this year against all economic odds and we Conquered!!!
DeVal’16: Missionaries of Charity
On the 13th February, 2016, we visited two homes (as usual); Missionaries of Charity and Love Home Orphanage, we were all very much happy to see smiles on the faces of these children. Some of the kids were shy, but trust us we invaded into that shyness to bring them into the limelight, and discovered some of them would make an awesome commentator/journalist or lawyer one day. All things considered, it was an amazing time.

Big thanks to our celebrities, who patiently stayed with us until we were done, conversed with the children, and even took pictures under the hot sun, even I couldn’t stand the gnawing sun beams on my skin.

Words can’t sincerely express the amount we are appreciative to all of you for the gifts and backings in all perspectives. We cherish you so much and say a very big thank you.
Signed: DEVAL16 Committee members.

We want to improve one year from now, so let’s all plan ahead for DEVAL’17. Do recall that, “it ain’t about how much we give but how much love we put into the giving”

Stay Blessed.
