JONATHAN IS LIKE JESUS

"I've been in a cage for 16years- Johnathan" was on the front page of Punch Newspaper- Monday 6th April, 2015. The moment i saw this, i was curious to know what the statement meant, why the statement was made, or is this just another catchy headline.

When I finally read the report, I found more than what i was looking for. The initial case study was President Goodluck Jonathan saying and i quote - "I was in a cage, being taken care of by the government from may 29, 1999 to date; 16 good years. I think it is a enough and I am happy"

Well to me these are stories for the gods, none of my concern but Our president did a good job by accepting defeat and also recently the military is showing promising note on the soon final destruction of the Islamic sect BokoHaram. #we-gotta-hope-for-the-best..(very soon end of the sect).

The story for the living is the matter at hand, "Nigerian will look for Jonathan" said by the President's Chaplain- Ven. Obioma Onwuzurumba. He said this while delivering, a sermon title 'The Lord is risen indeed' during Easter Sunday service held at the Aso Villa Chapel.

The Clergyman said, this Jonathan they did not want, they will look for him. This Jonathan they despised they will look for him, they will seek for his advice. He is not Jesus but he is like Jesus. I am not here to praise him.

So he concluded by saying Jesus disciples did not have the confidence that Jesus who did many things in their lived and the of the people, was the Messiah and if indeed he would resurrect. He argued that irrespective of what anybody would say, Jesus Christ resurrected and is alive.

My Opinion about this sane ridiculous statement is that; political views shouldn't be brought church. No matter who the president maybe; support him/her with prayer by praying for the country.

This ridiculous comparison could have being sane if the Life of Jesus wasn't compared but his Way.

Happy Easter

I can't just let this pass as well, i know its late but as i said I'm back. I have a lot of covering up to do before i go into the Big Stories.
I thank GOD for loving me when i was a sinner, i thank him for his son whom he gave to took all my sins away thru His death, and i also thank Him for the resurrection of His Son cos thru Him i'm righteous and his glory i dwell in.
Glory to GOD.

Congratulations to Gen. Buhari, Nigeria's President-Elect

A lot has really happened since i last posted.

Presidential election held March 28-29th, 2015, #yess ooo#, for two days, this is history for Nigeria.  For the first time in Nigeria, well I'm not 100% sure, so lets re-phrase that; for the first time in my Life I was interested in Nigeria's Election, anxious to know who the winner would be and this statement also applies to not less that 80% of Nigeria youths as well.

Nigerians, listening to the results on radio or watching it on TV, wrote the numbers down as the results were being announced for each state, even when Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega {Chairman of INEC}, says the house should go on a 10minutes which ends up being more than one hour, Nigerians were patiently waiting to hear the next result.....believe me I'm talking from experience.

Drama in the House
Professors claiming not to see the numbers they were told to read out, the most interesting of all is Mr Orubebe, former minister of Niger Delta Affars on March 31st, 2015, spoke during the resumed announcement of the elections result in Abuja, Nigeria’s FCT. He alleged that Prof Jega swiftly set up a committee to look into issues raised about the results in Rivers state by the All Progressives Congress, APC and slowly responded to PDP raised issues. Hhe said Jaga is biased, partial and tribalistic. However, in a swift reaction, the professor responded to the allegations raised by the former minister and that is how the phenomenon below was generated.
Jegamycin: a drug used for calming nerves and remaining focused even in the face of unnecessary provocation.
Orubebevin: a drug/elixir used to activate adrenalin glands that makes one shamelessly misbehave in public. Mostly used by touts, okada riders and ex militants

The winner was announced April 1st, 2015.

HB's Empire says a big Congratulations to General Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo. #Nigeriadecides

Gen. Buhari
I know that four years is not enough time to reform the country, but you could always start with a particular thing, you guys have a lot of work to do, so show we Nigerian youths what APC is capable of and if they deserve to be voted for again and again --- The ball is in your court.

Sometimes life gets in the way. For the past Two months and a half, I've been AWOL, no news, no blog.

That's not quite right...yeah i know. In fact there's been too much going on, so I've been preoccupied, mostly by academic concerns.
